BFI London Film Festival 2025 announces full line-up with 247 films from 79 countries

The BFI London Film Festival has revealed its complete 2025 programme, with 247 titles from 79 countries set to screen between 8 and 19 October.

The festival opens with the international premiere of Rian Johnson’s Wake Up Dead Man and closes with Julia Jackman’s 100 Nights of Hero. Gala screenings include Hikari’s Rental Family, Noah Baumbach’s Jay Kelly and Chloé Zhao’s Hamnet, alongside Philippa Lowthorpe’s H Is for Hawk.

Other highlights feature Luca Guadagnino’s After the Hunt, Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein and Sydney Sweeney’s Christy. In total, the line-up includes 27 world premieres, 11 international premieres and 20 European premieres.

The festival also hosts Screen Talks with Yorgos Lanthimos, Daniel Day-Lewis and Chloé Zhao, and extends nationwide through LFF On Tour and free digital screenings on BFI Player.
